About Linner
The Linner group of companies, headquartered in Wolnzach (Bavaria), comprises Linner GmbH (tool technology) and Linner Elektronik GmbH (electronics). In the tool technology division, Linner operates one of Germany's largest independent tool sharpening services for milling cutters and drills, with documented, reproducible regrinding processes, minimal material removal, and measurement of geometry and cutting edge. In addition, the company develops and manufactures custom new tools, including geometry planning and coating. The electronics division delivers complex cable harnesses and measurement and test cables from lot size 1, with EPLAN design, machine-based production with crimp force monitoring, and 100 % functional testing. With the Safety Testbench (STB), Linner offers CE-certified, modular high-voltage test bench systems in accordance with DIN EN 50191, featuring interlock safety, galvanically isolated I/O interfaces, and Siemens S7 control. The tools are used, among other things, in the aerospace industry; customers come from test bench engineering, electronics development, special vehicle manufacturing, and automotive. The family business, founded in 1978, is led by Ludwig and Lorenz Linner.
