LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH, headquartered in Bad Hersfeld, develops and produces fixture systems for the grocery retail sector, including system shelving, solutions for fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, wine, fresh food areas as well as checkout and ancillary rooms. In-house manufacturing takes place at two production sites in Germany: In Bad Hersfeld, steel shelving systems are manufactured using laser cutting, press brake bending, punching and forming processes, welding, roll profiling and powder coating; in Ottendorf-Okrilla, shopfitting solutions are made from wood-based materials with automated cutting, 5-axis CNC machining, edge banding, lacquering and final assembly. The company realizes around 2,000 projects per year and, with concept planning, project management, logistics, installation and after-sales, covers the entire value chain, also acting as general contractor. Customers include, among others, EDEKA retailers and Mix Markt. The approximately 400 employees work at the Bad Hersfeld, Ottendorf-Okrilla, Hanover and Karlsruhe sites.
