About Linseis

Linseis is a manufacturer of measuring instruments for material analysis in research and quality control, founded in 1957 by Dr. Max Linseis in Selb. The company develops and produces instruments for thermal analysis, thermal conductivity measurement and thermoelectric measured quantities, including Laser-Flash Analyzers (LFA), Dynamic Differential Calorimetry (DSC), simultaneous thermal analysis (STA), Hall effect analysis and TIM measuring instruments. In addition to series production, Linseis offers custom instrument development to individual requirements as well as contract measurements in its own test laboratory. Short paths between development and production enable customer-specific solutions. Customers come from research, the automotive industry, chemicals, semiconductors, life sciences and pharmaceuticals as well as from universities in Europe, America and Asia. In 2025, Linseis acquired a majority stake in Calneos, a provider of calorimetry for the life sciences and pharmaceuticals.
