About Linsinger

Linsinger Maschinenbau is an Austrian special-purpose machine builder headquartered in Steyrermühl (municipality of Laakirchen), Upper Austria. The company develops and manufactures high-performance cold circular saw machines for tubes, tube bundles, bars, rails and non-ferrous metal slabs, edge and trimming milling systems, thread whirling machines and systems for tube cutting using the whirling principle. A second focus is rail technology: Linsinger builds rail milling and rail processing trains, stationary rail head milling systems and rail special vehicles, including service via the sister company LINMAG GmbH. The processes are based on proprietary, partly patented technologies such as SHF conical milling, turbo milling and the LINCUT system with interchangeable carbide cutting inserts; since 2008 the company has been developing its own gearboxes such as the DPD (Double Power Drive). Core business areas are sawing technology, milling technology, rail technology and tool technology. With an export share of 99 percent, Linsinger supplies Europe and above all Russia and Asia; its most important industries are the tube and spiral tube industry, steel mills, rail and railway transport as well as tool technology.
