About Liosaplast
Founded in 1970, LIOSAPLAST AG is an owner-managed Swiss family company based in St. Margrethen and operates as a contract coater for functional and decorative plastic coatings. Its range of services covers powder coatings (electrostatic, fluidized bed, Minicoat) as well as wet paint coatings (conventional, electrostatic, high-rotation bell), complemented by pad printing, assembly work, final packaging and customs documents as an extended workbench. Part sizes range from a few millimetres up to 6 metres, and lot sizes from single parts to large series of over 100,000 pieces. The computer-controlled system with a Power-and-Free conveyor system handles customer parts up to 3.2 m × 2.0 m × 0.8 m and 300 kg; two separate pretreatment lines for aluminium and steel, each with eight tanks, ensure reproducibility and traceability. Customers come from industries such as rail, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, electroplating, electrical, mechanical and plant engineering; the company is qualified, among others, for Deutsche Bahn according to DBS 918 340 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Quality and certifications
Quality assurance is based on an ISO 9001:2015 certified management system (SQS/IQNet, Reg. No. CH-14819), automated chemical monitoring of pretreatment, and a closed water circuit with UV disinfection. The coater qualification according to DBS 918 340 of Deutsche Bahn demonstrates the qualification for powder coating of rail vehicle components made of aluminium.
