About Liveo Research
Liveo Research GmbH develops and produces films and packaging solutions for the primary packaging of pharmaceutical and medical products as well as specialty films such as shrink sleeves. Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Staufen im Breisgau, the company manufactures deep-draw forming films (BlisForm), lidding films (BlisLid) and barrier films (BlisBa) based on APET, PET, PP and COC. A key focus is on One-Material Blisters (OMB™), in which the base film and lidding film are made of the same material and are therefore recyclable. The films are characterized by excellent thermoformability, broad processing windows and defined water vapor transmission values. Value creation includes film extrusion, coating (including EZ Fill™ for higher productivity on blister lines) and scientific packaging consulting. With production sites and R&D centers in Europe, the USA and Asia, Liveo Research supplies pharmaceutical, medical technology and food customers worldwide. German sites are Staufen and Bötzingen; further plants are located in Taicang (China), Newcastle (USA) and Singapore.
