LMS Labor- und Messgeräte GmbH Stützerbach produces laboratory glassware, volumetric measuring devices and glass apparatus for the laboratory trade. The portfolio includes volumetric flasks, measuring cylinders, burettes, pipettes, pycnometers, butyrometers as well as flasks, condensers, funnels, separating funnels and an extensive range of distillation accessories down to glass components such as stoppers, taps and connectors. Production is carried out fully and semi-automatically on rotary and floor-running machines as well as on computer-controlled glass lathes; mechanised individual workstations and skilled manual work also enable the manufacture of demanding glass components and apparatus built to customer specifications. Volumetric measuring devices are produced in accuracy classes B, A, AS as well as with conformity certification. Customers come from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, petrochemistry, biotechnology, environmental protection, medical technology and dairy production, as well as from schools and universities. The products are sold worldwide in around 70 countries. The company, founded in 1992 in Stützerbach and looking back on a glassmaking tradition of more than 200 years in the region, has been based in Ilmenau since 1995.
