About LOC-Holz

LOC-Holz produces massive cross-laminated timber (LOC ELEMENT) and highly prefabricated timber modules (LOC SYSTEM) for modern solid timber construction. Value creation begins in its own sawmills in the Mühlviertel, where sawn timber is produced from regionally harvested wood. After careful drying, the exact quality sorting takes place according to strict LOC specifications; through cutting and finger-jointing, knot-free quality with a plain surface pattern is achieved. The material is then strictly inspected and state-controlled, and pressed into dimensionally stable cross-laminated timber elements. The high degree of prefabrication of the timber modules results in shorter construction times, lower costs and an environmentally friendly construction method. In addition, with RIFTLOC® the company offers the first design cross-laminated timber panel in rift quality. Customers include projects in the commercial, municipal, private and industrial sectors.
