Lochbihler Metallverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1980 by Gebhard Lochbihler in Sonthofen in the Allgäu, today run by the second generation, Karin and Klaus Grözinger. The company offers sheet metal working with cutting, punching, bending, welding and surface treatment, laser cutting on a Trumpf system, CNC machining (milling and turning of metals and plastics), mobile laser marking as well as design and special machinery construction. Another focus is food technology: lye-dipping machines (Bea quattro V4, LoLa V3, Junior V2), slicing machines (Schneid-LEO, Schneid-JACK), butter spreading machines (Streich-HEX) and lye technology for bakeries, butcher shops, snack bars and catering – developed and built under its own name since the acquisition of Ried Nahrungstechnik in 2014. Materials include steel, Corten steel, stainless steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Customers include, among others, Robert Bosch GmbH in Blaichach and the Erdinger Arena Oberstdorf. The range of services covers single-part production, special machinery construction, a sharpening service, hygiene protection walls, fire columns as well as assembly and personal delivery at the customer's site.
