Loewert Group AG, headquartered in Basel, is a manufacturer founded in 1993 in the wood and brushware industry. The company manufactures and supplies brushes made from recycled and natural materials, wooden handles for brooms and tools, rice straw brooms, dustpans and wooden components. Production takes place in an integrated manufacturing network with automated production lines for precision wood machining and brush manufacturing – from raw material processing through finishing and assembly to packaging. With more than 2.3 million products per month (around 27 million per year), Loewert supplies retailers and wholesalers throughout Europe, primarily as a private-label manufacturer. The wood is sourced via FSC- and PEFC-certified supply chains; the European warehouse location near the Rhine enables inland waterway shipping as a sustainable transport alternative.
