About Logispan

The Logispan Group, headquartered in Winsum, the Netherlands, is a supplier of biomass, residual wood and retail products as well as a provider of customised bedding products for livestock farming. The product range includes wood pellets, recycled wood, shreds, forest wood and dried stem wood chips, BioMix pellets, residual wood, sawdust, tree bark as well as substrates and potting soil; every biomass product is traceable back to its source. An in-house transport department with chartered walking floor vehicles supplies customers in Germany, the Benelux countries, Austria and northern France, among others, including just-in-time deliveries of sawdust and wood shavings for industry. For biomass power plants, Logispan supports customers with the permitting process under the Renewable Energy Act (EEG 2009/2012) and secures a continuous fuel supply. Under its own brand Pelfin, products such as tree bark, potting soil, wood pellets and firewood are distributed via garden centres and DIY stores. For the German market, Logispan GmbH is based in Munich (Beethovenplatz 2).
