About Lohberger
Lohberger GmbH, based in Schalchen (Upper Austria), has been developing and producing wood cook stoves, wood-burning stoves, heating stoves and heating boilers as well as complete kitchen facilities for the food service industry since 1925. From its expertise in wood stove and wood-burning stove technology, an independent large-scale kitchen division emerged (Lohberger Küchen Competence Center), which plans, manufactures and installs kitchens for hotels, gastronomy, system catering, catering and food processing – from standard solutions to custom-made designs. Manufacturing includes the metalworking of individual components, predominantly made of stainless steel, as well as their combination with materials such as stone and wood; all work steps from development through production to installation are covered at the plant in Schalchen. Around 300 employees produce on approx. 10,000 m² of hall floor space using modern production systems, including an automated press brake system. Lohberger is a company of the Austro Holding and delivers, in addition to Austria and Germany, among others to Switzerland, France, Italy and Sweden.
