LOHMANN BREEDERS is a specialized breeding company for laying hens and, according to its own information, market leader in the global market for Parent Stock birds. The company develops and markets a broad portfolio of its own hybrid lines, including LOHMANN LSL, LOHMANN BROWN, LOHMANN SANDY, LOHMANN SILVER and LOHMANN TRADITION, each for different husbandry systems such as cage housing and alternative housing systems. In addition to breeding, LOHMANN BREEDERS offers technical services, including a Toolbox on incubation, management, feeding and animal health, as well as veterinary consultation and laboratory diagnostics from Germany. Distribution takes place via a network of franchise hatcheries and distributors; long-standing partnerships exist, among others, with Bounty (for 40 years) and Bulagro-97 in Bulgaria (for 20 years). With training events such as the LOHMANN SCHOOL CAGE-FREE 2026 with participants from four continents, the company runs international knowledge transfer for the poultry and egg production industry.
