Lohmann Kunststoff GmbH is a medium-sized family company in Sinntal-Sterbfritz that has been active in injection molding since 1965 and works exclusively as a supplier to industrial customers. At Plant 1, technical injection-molded parts are produced from thermoplastics, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and high-performance plastics, including 2K parts and overmolded metal parts, cables and electronic components. Production runs in 3-shift operation on 19 fully automatic Arburg machines with clamping forces from 600 to 2,000 kN; for medical technology, a machine with a cleanroom of clean air class ISO 7 is available. Where required, injection-molded parts are assembled into assemblies together with purchased parts. The sister company Lohmann Werkzeug GmbH designs and manufactures injection molds up to 1,000 kg, including CAD/CAM design, cavity machining with a travel range of up to 300 x 500 mm, as well as maintenance and repair of existing tools. Customers come from the automotive industry, medical technology and general industry.
