About Lordi Industries
Lordi Industries is a sole proprietorship founded in 2021 and based in Sinntal, Hesse, specializing in additive manufacturing using the FDM process. Its range of services includes 3D CAD design with Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360, rapid prototyping, and rapid manufacturing of small series and end products. The company became known for the self-developed Simson Box, a trunk for Simson vehicles, whose first prototype was made from cardboard in 2021 and which has been on sale since January 2025. The entire value chain, from design and manufacturing to shipping, is handled in-house; it began in the grandfather's basement, and since August 2025 the company has been operating from its own premises in Sinntal. By July 2025, more than 1,000 products had been shipped. In addition to its own product line, Lordi Industries also takes on customer orders, such as its first corporate order for 200 units in February 2025. Delivery within Germany is free of charge.
