About us
Lorenz Bucher MagnesiumPrägeStempel has been manufacturing embossing dies since 2000, primarily for the printing industry. The product portfolio comprises single-step etched hot foil stamping tools, blind embossing dies for raised or recessed embossing with a counter-die, and tools for letterpress and leather embossing – all in magnesium. Magnesium is processed in thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.75 mm, 3 mm and 7 mm; the largest possible block format is approx. 75 x 100 cm. In cooperation with a partner company, brass blocks for all common applications are also supplied. The blocks are used mainly in the production of hot-foil-stamped wine and sparkling wine labels, as well as in letterpress printing, leather and plastics processing, and in foundries. The facility in Bullay on the Moselle was expanded in 2010 through the purchase and conversion of a former hotel, with investment in large-format machines. Tools are shipped by post, UPS or overnight express.
