LORENZ Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company in Wallenhorst near Osnabrück that has been developing and manufacturing custom plastic products for more than 60 years. The focus is on glass-fibre-reinforced composites based on polyester resin, in particular the moulding compounds SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound), BMC (Bulk Moulding Compound) and CIC (Continuous Impregnated Compound). SMC is supplied as a semi-finished product in rolls for large-area mouldings; in addition, the company manufactures prototypes and series parts on its own injection moulding machines. Production takes place at the German site, with delivery worldwide.

Sheet Moulding Compound
Glass-fibre-reinforced plastic moulding compound with high strength, supplied as a semi-finished product in rolls for large-area mouldings such as bonnets or kitchen sinks.
Bulk Moulding Compound
Moulding compound material with excellent mechanical, chemical and thermal properties, mouldable and highly flame-retardant, used among other things for headlamps and service connection boxes.
Continuous Impregnated Compound
A blend of BMC and SMC with outstanding electrical and fire-protection properties for insulation panels, service connection boxes and busbars.
Polyester resin
Base resin for the production of the moulding compounds SMC, BMC and CIC.
