About Lorenz Snacks
Lorenz Snacks is an independent family company based in Offenbach am Main that has been producing snacks since 1889 and is one of the leading providers in the European snack market. The product range includes potato chips (Crunchips), potato sticks (Pomsticks), salted pretzel sticks and crackers (Saltletts), peanut flips (NicNac's) as well as nut and Naturals products. Production takes place at three German plants: Neunburg vorm Wald (chips, 450 employees), Hankensbüttel (chips and logistics center, 400 employees) and Kreba-Neudorf (nuts, 175 employees); in addition, there are plants in Poland as well as locations in Austria, Russia, Egypt and China. The raw materials – potatoes from long-standing contract farmers, wheat, peanuts as well as sunflower and rapeseed oil – are selected and tested according to the company's own quality standards. Since 2023, the company has been promoting regenerative agriculture in potato cultivation and is a member of the Sustainable Spices Initiative. Lorenz employs around 3,000 people worldwide.
