About Lorenzen Dreh- und Frästechnik

Lorenzen Dreh- und Frästechnik GmbH is a custom manufacturer of precision parts and CNC components based in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the Ahr valley. Founded in 1957 by Heinz Lorenzen and taken over in 2021 by long-standing employees Thomas Bertram and Sascha Harbarth, the company produces workpieces to drawing, sample or CAD model – from one-off pieces and prototypes to small batches of typically up to 500 pieces. Machining is performed on predominantly CNC-controlled machines with a precision of 5 µm; materials include stainless steel, aluminium and silicon alloys, bronze, copper and plastics. The value chain includes band sawing, conventional turning and milling, the digitisation of samples by scanning, and surface treatments such as hardening, tempering, galvanising, bluing and chrome plating in cooperation with partners. Delivery is carried out with the company's own fleet within a 120 km radius; the company operates according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (certified by SGS).
