Louis Bélet SA is a Swiss family-owned company based in Vendlincourt in the canton of Jura, which has been manufacturing cutting tools since 1948. Its product range includes end mills, T-slot cutters, engraving and taper cutters, drills, circular cutters and circular saw blades, threading tools, gear hobs (fraises-mères) as well as micro and special tools made to customer drawings. Products are made from tungsten carbide (hard metal), ceramics and PCD (polycrystalline diamond), complemented by tools with internal cooling (H series) and form turning tools based on the ABC system. Its approximately 150 employees supply mainly the watchmaking industry, the MedTech sector, the jewellery and luxury goods industry as well as dental technology and plastics processing, for example when drilling glass-fibre reinforced plastics. The company maintains a catalogue of around 7,000 items, most of which are in stock, with no minimum order quantity. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 have been certified since 2002.
