About Louise Lang
Louise Lang, born in 1993, is a German fine artist and glassmaker. In her studio in Zwiesel, artistic work is created with the material glass: sculptures, installations, artists' books as well as works in video, performance, graphics, drawing and photography. Lang is influenced in her artistic process by the multi-layered nature of glass and transfers this multi-layeredness into her works in other media in order to make it tangible. Known work series include, among others, "Utopiereise", "Ortung", "geformte Katharsis", "kathartische Formen" and "Urban Mood". In 2018 she received the Talente Prize for Design at the Handwerksmesse München. The studio at Stadtplatz 28 in Zwiesel is open to visitors; communication is in German and English.
