About Loutd
Loutd develops and produces the musegg®, an all-in-one high-end active loudspeaker system for discerning private customers and specialist retailers. The idea originated in 2018 from the founders' unsuccessful search for a HiFi system that combines sound, price, long-term technological relevance and design. After initial prototypes made of glass- and carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic, the Multilayer Polymer Monocoque was developed in 2020 – a cabinet concept that balances stiffness, damping, weight and cost. The system integrates hardware and software architecture with platform-independent room correction (HoRooc, Remote.Fitting), smart-home connectivity, and software updates and hardware upgrades via ONE.CLICK. Loudspeaker components and electronics come from established partners such as SB Acoustics and Hypex Electronics; the founder and partner team is spread across Central Europe. Products are sold directly and via initial specialist retailers, with worldwide delivery.
