The LQ Group is a system supplier for electromechanical complete solutions in control and installation technology for machine and plant engineering. The company develops, designs and assembles modular systems consisting of function modules, assembled power cables and circular connectors, which are combined via the Energy Link modular system with uniform interfaces. Manufacturing includes customer-specific cable assembly and cable harnesses, pre-assembled energy chains as well as modular control cabinets with A-TEC function modules instead of individual wiring. Installation assemblies are delivered ready for installation, 100 % function-tested and just in time; the assembly range also includes servo cables according to Siemens and Bosch specifications. With 365 employees, LQ produces around 2990 cable kilometers per year at three manufacturing sites in Germany, China and the USA and sells around 305,000 systems per year. Customer industries include machine and plant engineering, automation and the packaging industry; since 2016, LQ has been a member of Packaging Valleys.
