LR Innovation Lab GmbH is the innovation team of the Occhio brand and develops lighting products in the luxury and design segment. The company in Vienna offers tailored software development – from hardware-related firmware to apps for iOS and Android through to websites – with expertise in radio technologies such as Bluetooth and Thread. In addition, it designs and implements complex electronics and lens systems for luminaires; prototyping is done in-house, enabling short development cycles. In design for manufacturing, the team works closely with suppliers in Europe and Asia, taking minimum order quantities and component availability into account. In addition, data- and AI-based solutions for product development are created. Under its own brand Luke Roberts, the company has been distributing its own luminaires since 2018, whose light can be dynamically directed in any direction.
