LSG Airline Catering & Retail GmbH (LSG Group) is an internationally active catering service provider with the brands LSG Sky Chefs, Retail inMotion, SPIRIANT and Evertaste. Its core business is the production of airline meals and convenience food products, complemented by airport lounge catering, railway catering, onboard retail, last-mile logistics and IT solutions for catering operations. Production takes place in the company's own catering kitchens (CSCs) in accordance with strict hygiene and quality standards; in food technology, processes such as autoclaving (steam sterilization) are used to produce shelf-stable products without refrigeration. Customers include international airlines such as Lufthansa, American Airlines, Delta, United, Emirates and Korean Air. In 2023, more than 20,000 full-time employees at 120 sites in 40 countries generated revenue of €2,437 million; 233 million meals were produced (including minority shareholdings). Since November 2023, the company has been part of the AURELIUS Group.
