Ultrasonic joining technology as contract manufacturing
lsm ultraschall-verbindungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a contract manufacturing company based in Hirschaid-Röbersdorf (Bavaria) specialising in ultrasonic joining technology. The company welds thermoplastics (welding, spot welding, cut-and-weld, cutting, flanging, riveting) as well as metals such as copper, brass and aluminium, including by compacting wire strands and torsional terminal welding. Further services include embedding metal parts in plastics, hot-element riveting, deburring, machining, assembly, kitting and packaging. Production starts at a quantity of 1 – from prototypes and samples through to series production. In addition, lsm offers joining technology consulting as well as trading in ultrasonic welding machines and components such as sonotrodes, converters, boosters and generators. Customers come from the packaging industry, the automotive industry, electrical engineering/electronics as well as industry, technology and trades; seam welds for solar collectors are also produced. Since 2007 the company has been certified to ISO 9001 (TÜV Rheinland).
