LTS LandTechnik Sexauer e.K. is a medium-sized family business in its second generation, based in Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl. Since 1982, the company has developed, produced and distributed crop protection technology under the VICAR brand, in particular radial blower sprayers (turbines) for row crops. The portfolio comprises five basic models with 15 different turbine configurations as well as mounting systems, injection systems, herbicide sprayers and air blast blowers – from equipment for vegetable growing with a one-metre working width to application in avenue trees up to 45 metres high. In addition to production, the focus is on consulting, service, on-time spare parts supply and digitalization solutions such as VISU and CleverSpray. Customers are businesses in viticulture, fruit growing, hop growing and vegetable growing, nurseries and special crops; exports are handled, among others, via a sales partner in South Africa. At the end of 2024, a new company building was occupied after almost five years of construction.
