LUC GmbH (Laboratorium für Umweltchemie) is an independent German manufacturer of high-purity solvents for analytical and environmental applications. The company combines controlled distillation, purification and recovery systems to produce solvents with defined purity targets. The service portfolio includes customised high-purity solvents, solvent recycling and clean-up, mixtures and formulations, volumetric solutions, resin clean-up and special filling. The product portfolio includes, among others, methanol, acetonitrile, acetone, cyclohexane, dichloromethane, n-hexane, ethyl acetate, toluene and petroleum ether in the purity grades Picograde® for residue analysis and HPLC Optigrade®. Production, storage and distribution are integrated at the German site; in addition, LUC is one of the few providers in Western Europe to offer a recycling and reuse option for solvents. LUC is part of bioKEMIX Worldwide, an international group for chemical manufacturing and distribution with several locations worldwide.
