About us
Lucelab Leuchten Manufaktur is a design and craft business from Schöneiche bei Berlin that has been designing, producing and marketing luminaires since 1995. Founder Oliver Michl leads the company as designer and founder. The range of services includes lighting design, luminaire design and custom luminaire construction for individual projects as well as the company's own luminaire collection. Customers include hotels, restaurants and bars, among them the Somelia Hotel Frankfurt and the restaurant Golver Berlin; since 2018 Oliver Michl has also served as Creative Director of the 40 Seconds Group Berlin. The manufactory produces by hand using high-quality materials, placing particular emphasis on attention to detail and the compatibility of aesthetics and function. The company became known, among other things, for the series luminaire model fleXXXibile, which was awarded the Red Dot Award in 1996.
