Since 1973, Ludwig Bohrer Maschinenbau GmbH has been developing and manufacturing container cleaning machines in Regenstauf near Regensburg, starting with crate washing machines for the beverage industry. Today, the product range comprises a complete portfolio of crate, box, container, pallet and trolley washing systems in modular compact designs with capacities from a few hundred up to 14,000 containers per hour. The company relies on almost 100 percent in-house production: from stainless steel sheet metal processing on CNC laser cutting, punching and bending machines to stainless steel welding technology, control cabinet construction and control programming, manufacturing takes place in-house. Machines are built in stainless steel hygienic design with technologies such as turbulent soak tanks, adaptive high-pressure spray systems and energy-saving centrifugal drying. Customers include the beverage and food industry, pharmaceuticals, clinics, catering as well as industrial and logistics companies worldwide; over 1,000 and, according to the company, more than 3,000 systems are in operation. The range of services also includes project planning, commissioning, maintenance, 24/7 remote service and the complete overhaul of used machines.
