About the Elkuch Group
The Elkuch Group is an independent, family-owned group of companies headquartered in Bendern in the Principality of Liechtenstein, with subsidiaries in Switzerland and Germany. Around 380 employees are employed. The core competence lies in steel processing: the Steel Service Center supplies precision-cut fine and heavy plate as well as slit strip, including on a slitting line for coils up to 3 mm thickness, and offers flat processing, forming technology, sheet metal part manufacturing, as well as roller and drum production. Hot-rolled (1.5–12 mm) and cold-rolled coils (0.5–3 mm) up to 2000 mm in width are processed, as well as hot-dip galvanized and electrolytically galvanized coils sourced from the EU. Further business areas include apparatus, enclosure and container construction, door and gate systems for railway, road and metro tunnels as well as power plants (Elkuch DoorSystems) and steel moulds for the fibre cement industry (SYRO). Projects include, among others, the Lötschberg, Gotthard and Ceneri base tunnels. Services range from engineering and prototyping through series production and factory assembly to maintenance and training; delivery is carried out with the company's own trucks.

Quality
Door and gate systems are tested and certified in cooperation with independent testing institutes (among others fire resistance up to EI120, pressure/suction load up to ±20 kPa, leakage < 20 m³/hm²). Doors and gates are pre-assembled and tested at the factory before being delivered in transport-ready units.
