About Schwerdtel
The Ludwig Schwerdtel GmbH was founded in 1929 in Munich as a family business and can look back on almost 100 years of experience in special machinery construction. With the production of the first piston feed pump in 1965, the company established itself as a provider for the handling of paste products. Schwerdtel develops and implements fully integrated production systems for processing viscous materials — from product feeding through dosing and mixing to filling and packaging. The portfolio includes container, drum, hobbock and buffer presses, pumps, inline mixing systems, cartridge and can filling machines with vacuum sealing, cartoners as well as individual special-purpose machines. Materials processed include silicones, acrylics, PU sealants, adhesives, greases, printing and UV inks as well as highly viscous hotmelt adhesives. Headquarters and production are located in Karlsfeld near Munich; with an export quota of over 90 %, the company serves customers worldwide.
