About us
Lüber System GmbH from Amriswil (TG) is an owner-managed Swiss family business for chemical-free water treatment, established in 1981. Its core product is the Hydrocleaner® Plus, a physical process based on electrolysis and cathodic corrosion protection with magnesium anodes that stops corrosion and rusty water in drinking water pipes without chemical additives. The portfolio is complemented by water softening systems with ion exchange and automatic regeneration, activated carbon filters of the Carbon Pro series made from coconut-shell activated carbon, and the heating cleaner with anodic corrosion protection and hydrocyclone filtration. The systems are manufactured in Amriswil; the service offering includes pipe analysis with endoscopic inspection, consulting, planning, installation, commissioning, device service (also for third-party systems), salt delivery service and faucet strainer replacement. Customers are private households, multi-family buildings, commercial and industrial clients; technical support is also offered for industrial water treatment. Strategic partners are Biotektron (precision device engineering) and Styromat (control electronics) in Amriswil.

Magnesium (anodes)
Pure magnesium is consumed in the Hydrocleaner and used as anodic protection in the heating cleaner to stop corrosion physically.
Activated carbon from coconut shells
Porous filter material with a large surface area for adsorption of chlorine, pesticides and pharmaceutical residues in the Carbon Pro series.
Ion exchange resin
Exchanges lime-forming calcium and magnesium ions against sodium ions for water softening.
Regeneration salt (Reosal 4440/4470)
Quality salt (fine or tablets, 25 kg) for regeneration of the softening systems via the salt delivery service.

The systems are manufactured Swiss Made in Amriswil; since 2014 the partnership with Biotektron (precision device engineering) and Styromat (control electronics) has supported quality and production. With every salt delivery, raw water and blend hardness are checked and the system is readjusted if necessary.
