About Lütauer Süßmosterei
Lütauer Süßmosterei is a family business in Lütau in the district of Herzogtum Lauenburg (Schleswig-Holstein) that produces fruit juices, nectars and Schorle. The juices have been sold under this name since 1984; pressing has taken place at this site since around 1955. The core of the range consists of regional varieties such as apples, rhubarb and plums, complemented by blends with ginger, mango, passion fruit, cherries, beetroot, tomatoes and other fruits in organic and conventional quality. The facility comprises the juice pressery and production as well as its own farm shop (juice shop) directly at the pressery. As part of the apple intake, the company accepted around 170 tonnes of orchard fruit from private individuals in 2025 and offers contract pressing in exchange for orchard apple juice. The products are sold via farm shops, restaurants and supermarkets in northern Germany; according to information from the municipality of Lütau, distribution is nationwide.
