Lufthansa Technical Training GmbH (LTT) is a provider of training and education for aviation technical personnel and, as a subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, sits at the source of technical knowledge in the MRO sector. The portfolio covers vocational training in seven aviation technical trades on behalf of Lufthansa Technik, Basic Training leading to the Aircraft Maintenance License (AML), and Aircraft Type Training for almost all common aircraft and engine types. The offering is complemented by Online Distance Learning, customized training solutions and an eLibrary. Practical relevance is ensured, among other things, by dedicated training aircraft; with innovative media tools such as Spheric View, the aircraft is brought virtually into the classroom. Every year, 14,000 training days are delivered, and more than 600 customers worldwide are served by trainers who themselves come from maintenance and overhaul practice. With locations in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Manila as well as approvals from EASA, UK CAA, Transport Canada and other aviation authorities, LTT serves customers worldwide. Through joint ventures and partnerships, including Lufthansa HNA Technical Training in China and Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore, the international reach is strengthened.
