About us

Luftkissentechnik Schweitzer GbR is a German manufacturer of air film cushion elements and complete transport systems based on air cushion technology. The company builds air cushion vehicles and heavy-duty transporters to customer requirements, including transporters with external drive for loads up to approx. 80 tonnes, for example for rotors, as well as air cushion vehicles with lifting beams for loads up to approx. 20 tonnes, which are used among other things in the transformer industry. In addition to new builds, the company offers complete overhauls and conversions of air cushion transporters from all manufacturers, including retrofitting with radio remote control and automatic height regulation. The service portfolio includes maintenance, repair of air film cushion elements and components from all manufacturers, and spare parts supply with many parts in stock. Air cushion transport systems are characterised by low physical effort, millimetre-precise positioning, vibration-free movement of the load and high manoeuvrability in the tightest spaces. Consultation is also available on request directly at the customer's site.
