About LUMITECH
LUMITECH Lighting Solution GmbH is an Austrian company headquartered in Jennersdorf in Burgenland that develops LED lamps and lighting solutions. The company was founded in 1997 as a spin-off of Graz University of Technology and developed, among other things, the Chip-on-Board technology (COB) for LEDs as well as the first color conversion technology for warm-white LED light, which was licensed worldwide by LED manufacturers. Licensees include Philips Lighting, Osram, Tridonic (Zumtobel) and Seoul Semiconductors. With PI-LED, Lumitech offers biorhythmic light, and with FoodLighting a linear lighting system for food. Today the focus is on lighting solutions for refrigerated display cases and shop fitting, medical applications (e.g. dental drills, blood sensors), industrial applications (e.g. banknote printing systems) as well as general lighting and technical lighting. The company offers LED development, licensing of technologies and lighting solutions for special applications.
