About Lumvin
Lumvin is a Swiss clean-tech company based in Baden, specialising in sustainable LED lighting and technical product development. The company retrofits existing luminaires using a re-use approach: high-quality housing base bodies are retained and equipped with modern LED components from Tridonic, which lowers costs and conserves resources. In addition to retrofitting, Lumvin develops and produces its own LED luminaires and custom solutions in Switzerland together with its partner libs, from one-off items through to series solutions. The service portfolio includes independent lighting design including the energy certificate, CAD engineering, prototype manufacturing, project management as general contractor, and the instalment model Lighting as a Service. Production takes place jointly with libs apprentices at six Swiss locations; over 100 projects have been realised, including for schools, municipalities, the public sector and listed heritage buildings. For its commitment to ecology and the economy, Lumvin AG was awarded the Swiss Economic Award 2025.
