lune Prozesstechnik GmbH was founded on 1 January 1991 by Harald Böhnert in Neuss and is an owner-managed, group-independent process engineering company. The company offers components and systems for sampling liquids, suspensions and solids, for shut-off and dosing valves, for radiometric measurement systems as well as containment solutions from concept design through to qualification. The product range includes, among other things, pneumatic piston, TopPowder and auger samplers, inline sampling valves, custom-designed immersion tubes, FDA-compliant shut-off and dosing valves of the Oyster series (DN100 to DN300) as well as radiometric measurement systems of the RONAN X96S series. The technical core is the platform function for specialised manufacturers such as ProSys, ValvEngineering and RONAN, whose products lune distributes and engineers for the German-speaking market. The customer base comprises end customers, plant manufacturers and engineering offices, primarily from pharma, chemicals, food and the steel industry/continuous casting, including BASF, Bayer, Merck, Roche and ThyssenKrupp Stahl. Materials used include stainless steel 316L, Hastelloy C22 and PFA-coated stainless steel.
