About LUPA Präzisionsfedern
LUPA Präzisionsfedern GmbH was founded in 2000 by Harald Lupa and is a medium-sized family company headquartered in Hardt near Schramberg in the Black Forest. The company specialises in the manufacture of spring strands, micro springs, compression springs, flat wire spirals as well as wire and cable sections with wire diameters from 0.03 mm and spring diameters from 0.25 mm. Production uses, among other materials, stainless steel, unalloyed spring steel wire, tungsten (also gold-plated), platinum and platinum alloys as well as PTFE-coated wires. The products are used primarily in medical technology – for example for guide wires, catheters, endoscopes, biopsy forceps or cardiac pacemakers – as well as in the electrical, watchmaking and jewellery industries. In addition to spring manufacturing, the company offers centreless grinding, electrolytic marking, de-coating, 90-degree cutting, welding, ultrasonic cleaning and customised packaging. Since 2021, the company has been producing in a new building of around 2,000 square metres; following the acquisition of 11 machines from Mauch Drahtbearbeitung GmbH & Co. KG, the machine fleet comprises 45 machines. Customers are supplied worldwide, including in the USA, South America, Asia and Europe.
