About Lust auf Farben
Lust auf Farben is a sole proprietorship based in Wuppertal, run by Raphael Fischer and emerging from the work of Dorothea Fischer. The offering includes specialist books on dyeing with natural dyes on wool and silk, including titles on Lac Dye and on dyeing without toxic additives, as well as knitting patterns in German, English and Danish as print or PDF. The program also includes books on traditional knitting patterns such as the lily-of-the-valley pattern from Hapsal (Estonia) and publications on family and craft history. The processes covered include dyeing with natural dyes such as Lac Dye, dye preparation (mordanting) and knitting. The products are distributed via the company's own online shop; shipping is directed to Germany, and international deliveries are possible on request. The company is aimed at textile craftspeople and those interested in arts and crafts.
