luxwerk - manufaktur für lichttechnik GmbH is a luminaire manufactory based in Malterdingen near Freiburg im Breisgau. For over 16 years, its specialists have been planning, designing and manufacturing custom LED luminaires for education, healthcare, public buildings, assembly venues, churches and other architectural fields. The focus is on individual solutions where standard luminaires fall short in design, technology or construction: sphere luminaires, curved profiles, luminous ceilings, special shapes and material combinations of aluminium, sheet steel, acrylic glass, PMMA, textiles and glass. In addition to new developments, the company manufactures and installs modernisations of existing luminaires with the x.change LED upgrade, in which existing luminaire housings are reused with custom-made LED inserts. The range of services extends from project-specific lighting design and sampling through in-house manufacturing and installation to commissioning and documentation. The company integrates DALI, DMX, HCL, Tunable White, full-spectrum LEDs and sensor technology into projects as required. Lot sizes range from individual luminaires to orders with 1,000 luminaires or more.
