About LWZ
LWZ GmbH & Co. KG in Werl is a contract manufacturing company for brazing technology and heat treatment with over 40 years of experience. Having evolved from its parent company's industrial furnace construction business, over the past 25 years the company has developed from a pure service provider for annealing and joining technology into a system supplier. It manufactures brazed components and assemblies as well as bent and cut tube shaped parts made of steel, stainless steel, brass, copper and aluminium. All common brazing and soldering processes are available, including brazing, soldering, flux-free brazing in protective gas continuous furnaces, induction brazing, flame brazing and aluminium brazing, plus five protective gas continuous furnaces and heat treatments such as recrystallization annealing, normalizing, stress-relief annealing and soft annealing. In addition, LWZ performs machining, welding/tacking, coordination of purchased parts and surfaces, inspections, packaging, storage and transport with its own vehicle fleet. Customers come from the automotive industry, heating and sanitary engineering, mechanical engineering and the electrical industry.

Materials & Processes
High-temperature brazing
Reliable, pressure-resistant joints with a strength of the brazed seam approaching that of the base material.
Protective gas continuous furnace brazing
Flux-free brazing under a protective gas atmosphere; parts leave the furnace oxide-free and bright metallic.
Induction brazing
Local joining depending on part design and requirement.
Flame brazing
Flexible brazing process for various component geometries.
Aluminium brazing
Joining of components made of aluminium.
Brass brazing
Brazing of brass, steel, copper and stainless steel components.
Heat treatment / annealing
Recrystallization annealing, normalizing, stress-relief annealing, soft annealing and bright annealing under protective gas, among others for hydroformed stainless steel products.
Welding and tacking
TIG, MIG/MAG, resistance welding, pulse and CE tacking for preparing components for the brazing process.
Tube bending (CNC/conventional)
Bending of tubes Ø 6–28 mm made of steel, stainless steel, copper and brass; copper tubes Ø 12 and 15 mm directly from coil.
Tube cutting (orbital)
Orbital cutting of tubes Ø 6–28 mm in the new cutting centre.
Machining
Turning, milling, drilling and tube end machining for preparation suitable for brazing.
