Lydech Thermal Acoustical Inc. develops and produces thermal and acoustic solutions for the automotive industry, including product groups such as Lytherm, dBCore, dBLyte, dBStream, dBflor and solutions for LV batteries. The company originated from the business segment of the same name at Lydall Inc. and was acquired by new owners in March 2023; it builds on more than four decades of experience in automotive component development. Worldwide, Lydech employs around 1,700 people at six manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia, with a total of approximately one million square feet of production space and 60 production lines and presses. The headquarters with sales and technology center is located in Novi, Michigan (USA); manufacturing sites are located in Hamptonville and Yadkinville (North Carolina, USA), Meinerzhagen (Germany), Saint-Nazaire (France) and Taicang (China).
