The Workshop
M.A.D'E GVA (Monney Atelier d'Exclusivités GVA) is a private company based in Plan-les-Ouates near Geneva, founded around ten years ago by Sébastien Monney. The workshop consists of watchmakers and specialists from the watchmaking industry and supports watch companies in developing their products – from conception through prototype construction and production to assembly and the repair of models of all brands. The services include garnissage (chassage of pins, tenons and screw feet, empierrage, rivetage), assembly of all movement types including pre-assembly and reconditioning, emboitage with fitting of dials and hands as well as water-resistance testing, after-sales service and component reconditioning. In addition, the workshop offers expert appraisals and valuations as well as project management with prototype construction, production and support. Mandates and projects are carried out for watch companies as well as private clients in Switzerland and internationally.
