About us
M.A.L. GmbH is an owner-managed company founded in 1991, headquartered in Hönigsberg, Austria. The company sees itself as a full-service provider covering the entire range of services from development and design through the manufacture of metal components to assembly both domestically and abroad. Core areas are special machinery construction, burner construction — in which the company specialised from 1995 onward — and prototype construction. Customers come mainly from the steel and metal industry, plant engineering, and recycling and environmental technology. With its own technology and development department, M.A.L. implements complex solutions, such as in the EU project Dust2Value, a prototype for a recycling process for steel production residues using hydrogen reduction. Since 2019, the sister company M.A.L. Industrieservice GmbH has complemented the range of services.
