About m&m public design
m&m public design ag, based in Luzern, manufactures enamelled signs, illuminated signs, stelae, and information boards for public spaces. In its own enameling workshop, enamel frit is ground into powder, sprayed onto metal sheets, designed using screen printing or stencil methods, and fired multiple times – up to four firings for single-color screen printing per sign. The craftsmanship is complemented by internal metal construction, welding work, design, and installation and maintenance on site. The 16-person team realizes projects from consultation and concept design through to production and installation. Customers include Swiss Federal Railways (Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen), for whom the company has been producing throughout Switzerland for over 25 years, as well as the Rhaetian Railway, municipalities, clinics, hotels, and cultural institutions.
