About M+M Turbinen-Technik
Founded in 1995 and owner-managed, M+M Turbinen-Technik GmbH is a family company headquartered in Bad Salzuflen specializing in the design and manufacture of custom steam turbines. The product portfolio covers backpressure, condensing, extraction and induction turbines, district heating/CHP turbines, mini turbines as well as custom special designs in the power range from 0.2 to 30 MW (condensing up to 35 MW). The turbine packages are delivered as complete solutions from a single source, from design through engineering and manufacturing to assembly and commissioning, including thermal condensing systems, transformer substations, piping and foundation/structural steel design. Fields of application include biomass, chemicals, food, paper, geothermal energy, power plants, sewage sludge and waste incineration as well as waste heat recovery. With more than 200 turbines delivered and an export share of around 70%, the company supplies customers in more than 39 countries. In addition, M+M offers maintenance, upgrades, spare parts management, technical support with remote maintenance, as well as factory inspection and major overhaul.

Turbine Types and Processes
Backpressure Turbine
Uses process steam for combined heat and power generation (CHP), exhaust pressure up to 40 bar abs.
Condensing Turbine
Multi-stage impulse turbine for maximum power generation, 0.2–35 MW, exhaust pressure 0.04–0.6 bar abs.
Extraction Turbine
Controlled steam extractions at various pressure levels, also under vacuum, for flexible process integration.
Induction Turbine
Steam admission from multiple pressure levels for flexible integration into existing processes.
District Heating/CHP Turbine
Two-stage thermal condensing for applications where heat is the primary objective.
Mini Turbine
For low steam flows with optimal efficiency.
M+M Special Designs
Custom turbine solutions for unusual project requirements.
