About Mérat AG

Mérat AG, headquartered in Bern, is a Swiss gastro butcher supplying gastronomy, hotels, care homes/catering and the resale trade with meat, poultry and seafood specialities. Except for international specialities, its fresh meat range comes exclusively from Switzerland, including from IP-Suisse label farms (the «Swiss Gourmet Grand Cru» line). In the poultry segment, the company operates a comprehensive value chain with Swiss chicken from regional agriculture. The charcuterie production includes cold cuts, salsiz, Chinoise, dried sausage and salami; the «Swiss Premium Convenience» line is produced in Switzerland from Swiss meat and domestic raw materials. Through the integrated Tipesca SA, Mérat also supplies fish and seafood with its own import operation seven days a week. Thanks to nine regional gastro butcher shops across Switzerland, the company guarantees short transport routes, daily fresh delivery and flexible delivery rhythms; orders can be placed by telephone or via the webshop.
