About us
M103 – Modul House is a young company based in Frankfurt am Main with an affinity for timber construction, founded by carpenter Malte Oevermann and construction professional Max Thieme. The company prefabricates wall modules from wood in its own workshops. Each module weighs around 60 kg and can be assembled in just a few minutes. The delivery scope of a house (e.g. the 75 sqm dream house) comprises exterior walls, interior walls, roof truss and insulation as pre-assembled modules including delivery. According to the provider, the house is erected with only two people, a cordless screwdriver, an impact drill and a hammer. Thanks to prefabrication in the factory and reduced working time on the construction site, the provider states that costs are approximately 20 % lower compared to conventional timber frame construction. The target group is self-builders and clients looking for a simple, cost-effective timber construction. The company sees its solution as an answer to the shortage of skilled workers in the construction industry.
